WELCOME
Odd to have homeschooling resources on a financial services website, right? I would agree, except that I quickly realized that my finances and organizational skills needed to be in great shape in order to homeschool.
Our
Story
As a single parent, I made the very necessary decision to homeschool my child in 2017. Before choosing this route, I had to address two main concerns: where do I start, and how can I make sure I can afford to do this?
This page is a cross between those two very real issues so that I can help alleviate some of the barriers that parents face when finding themselves in the position of considering or choosing homeschooling.
Resources
These resources are what I use for my own homeschool. These PDFs are designed so that you can download and print off as many as you need to whenever you need to. These are some basics to keep you in compliance with California state law, and it makes this entire journey so much easier!

This kit includes everything: your guide to getting started, a course of study template, a current school year calendar, an attendance and PE tracker, and finally the Deschooling 101 PDF.
