They say not to judge a book by its cover, but the cover hooked me, the title reeled me in, and the edges had me for dinner. Is that the right fishing metephor? This book had no chance of staying on the bookstore shelf. This is a thriller, and I found it to be a good one! I am afraid to give spoilers so this will be short. We might be able to say it was an "accident gone wrong," or a plan that was taken too far. Everything starts unraveling when our main character's cold and heartless mother dies. What will she find out as a result of her famous mother's death? Why is she so cold? How many people know?
There are a couple of twists and turns in here, and the author does a very good job of keeping you hooked. This was a book I had a hard time putting down. It's one of those that you want to read straight through. I give this book a 4/5 stars, and would recommend to anyone who desires an easy to read and captivating thriller sans gore.
