Book 6 of 7 in the Blue Moon Series
Lucy Score is an author that I love to read so it comes as no surprise that I enjoyed reading this book. Admittedly, it is my least favorite Lucy Score to date. In the Fine Art of Faking It, we find Blue Moon’s Beautification Committee’s next target: Davis Gates and Eden Moody. Eden Moody had an unfortunate night in high school, and has worked hard to change the narrative of who she is ever since. Now that she is running her own inn, and has been working to change her image since that unfortunate day of the HeHa dance, her sworn enemy re enters her life: Davis Gates. The Gates and Moody families are sworn generational enemies. Can these two enemies become lovers? If so, at what cost?

Rated: 3/5 stars
The reason behind my rating is simple: I think this series can do without a Gates and Moody story. In my opinion, the Blue Moon series is a Pierce/Merrill story line. I am not clear why we have a Gates and Moody addition here, unless the final book brings it together. As it stands, this book is an odd ball. I had no interest in Eden Moody or Davis Gates as individuals beforehand. There is still one book left in this series that I will be reading next, but this is my initial thought. If it changes, I will update this review.
Regardless, Lucy Score writes really lovely books that will make you laugh and put a smile on your face. After reading 15 books, I feel confident in saying you can’t go wrong with any of her books! Happy reading!
